Not even released yet, the last book of Stephen King already adapted in series

Sleeping Beauties will fit on the small screen.

Stephen King’s adaptations are no longer counted. While awaiting the big Dark Tower project at the cinema, we learn today that the next book by Stephen King, not even in bookstore, Sleeping Beauties, will become a TV series. The production company Anonymous Content has won the rights of this supernatural novel that King co-wrote with his son, Owen. They will both be associated with the development of the series.

Expected for September, the book Sleeping Beauties will take place in a small town in the Appalachians, where the main employer is a women’s prison. And when the prisoners sleep, they find themselves wrapped in a kind of gaseous cocoon …

Michael Sugar, winner of the Oscar for the Best Film thanks to Spotlight and already behind the mystery series of Netflix, The OA, will be the producer of the project. No dates or channels have yet been announced.
